Making pizza!
Room 18 have learnt lots about fractions this term, some of our resources were magnetic pizzas, they looked so good that we decided to make our own pizzas to complete our fractions learning! It was a busy day of writing recipes, preparing the ingredients, setting up, making the pizzas, eating, then cleaning up.

When we made the pizza we had to keep our hands clean. We learnt what ingredients we could use. First we created a recipe, we started chopping the ingredients, we put them in bowls, we took them to the wharekai. We put the tomato paste on on the pizza base, and then we got to choose our ingredients. We put them on trays, then baked them in the oven for 20 minutes. When we pulled them out, it smelled like real pizza, like pizza hut.
