Kia ora and welcome! Room 18 is a lively class of year two and three students at Clendon Park School, in New Zealand. We're excited about having visitors and seeing more added to our page! Thanks for popping in! Just to let you know, for those of you that are unfamiliar with the Maori language, "Whaea" is Maori for "Miss" and is pronounced as "fie-ah"

When we made the pizza we had to keep our hands clean. We learnt what ingredients we could use. First we created a recipe, we started chopping the ingredients, we put them in bowls, we took them to the wharekai. We put the tomato paste on on the pizza base, and then we got to choose our ingredients. We put them on trays, then baked them in the oven for 20 minutes. When we pulled them out, it smelled like real pizza, like pizza hut.
